Fast beats. Are you somewhat familiar with the currently active mainstream pop singers now? Are you looking for songs like these I've posted before?
[1999][MV] Lee Jung Hyun "바꿔" (Change)
[1999][MV] Koyote "순정" (Innocence)
[1998][MV] Kim Hyun Jung "그녀와의 이별" (Breakup with her)

wow 1999.......so long ago but i still like lee jung hyun and clon whose music still sounds new to my ears, esp clon. there are so many fast beat k music that it will be hard to start somewhere unless we know his reference point rite? fast beat can be anything from orange caramel's aing, to son dambi's db rider, or baek ji-young's my ear candy, all of which i find easily likable, and for the guys, there are also plenty like supreme team, se7en, rain, bigbang, 2pm, super junior.

apart from the usual 2NE1 which i assume is what initialdjay might like,
other female groups along the same line i would think of

Sunny Hill 써니힐 Grasshopper song 베짱이 찬가
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...;v=sAXJa1HSki0#!

Elizabeth 엘리자베스 Ppa ppa Pierrot 빠빠삐에로
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3BWOqwCY7_M...feature=related

for the guys, i might recommend
So Ji-sub 소지섭 Pick up line 픽 업 라인
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bBLlW93AK-E

if not fast enough,
Outsider (but serving military now), Hero 주인공
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAw3kQpY3CU

If you are not in Korea, it's hard to use sites like Melon and Bugs. Soribada is your best bet to legally buy Korean mp3 outside Korea. They also have English pages.

some of the songs in soribada is not licensed for release for my country. but i will make do with what i can get hold of, including importing the cds. and the great youtube that introduce me so many great music...

[1996][Audio] R.ef "찬란한 사랑" (Brilliant love) (Bear with the intro lol)
[1997][MV] Goofy "비련"

wat do the spammers gain by killing a forum? beside it is still easy to find the thread, just ignore the zero reply threads.

Of course, there are many ways to stop this spam disaster. It's just that the owner of this forum stopped caring a long while ago. I just bookmarked this thread because I've been using it like a blog.

^ I PM'ed Ben about letting me be a mod, I suggested he make you one too. He actually responded this time saying He'd think about it but he needed to find a way to stop the spam.

I gave him some suggestions as well as a link to Googles Captcha. I didn't know Googles captcha was free for websites.

We'll see what happens.

there was once that kahi dance to this song which got me to the source.

So I just found out Adam Lambert performed at Mnet Asian Music Award (a kpop music event).

That's so random, but at least he seemed to like k-pop and the k-pop artists seem to like him too:
