Taiwan isn't a country. But for this, this is actually hard to say. You also need to differentiate between the Koreas.
Japan and China have a lot of historical tension, and we have disputed territory over the Diaoyutai, but I think things are cooling down. The historical issue has been lessened significantly as China shoves Japan out of relevance (lol). And with the earthquake, the Japanese will probably have other things to worry about than China. North Korea is China's strategic liability and economic leech. Other members will defend the DPRK. I won't. DPRK is China's bratty spoiled little emperor. South Korea (as a nation not as a people) is more or less friendly to China, and we have no real outstanding disputes of relevance. Any argument is more due to who our partners are, the US for the ROK and the DPRK for the PRC. I would personally prefer that the DPRK and the US is kicked out, but that's easier said than done. Taiwan is a tricky d!ck. Speaking from the PRC's POV, we see Taiwan as inseparable from China, and the only considerable threat Taiwan is to China is the breakup of China to PRC and some nation state of Taiwan. Otherwise, economic relations are in China's favor, despite that we're the reason Taiwan's economy is growing. Vietnam (as a nation, not as a people) is friendly to the PRC. This is due to China's economic engagement with Vietnam, and the fact that both are developing Communist governments, though Vietnam receives far less attention. |

Taiwan isn't a country.
On government to government levels, China gets along with everyone except the US, India and Japan, and even they have room for negotiations. Probably gets along better with Vietnam than South Korea, until the SCS conflicts. On people to people levels in their native countries, it's probably Russians, Pakistanis and Nigerians that are friendliest to China lol. Saw this on a Gallup poll somewhere. |

judging by the choices, i figure the OP obviously is not native or ethnic Chinese/Taiwanese, which means he knows nothing about psyche of Chinese.
i suspect the purpose of this thread is simply to stroke fire and discord. |

Vietnam (as a nation, not as a people) is friendly to the PRC. This is due to China's economic engagement with Vietnam, and the fact that both are developing Communist governments, though Vietnam receives far less attention. The recent news at the south china sea tells me otherwise. |

Are we talking about the common people or the governments? Governments. To Kaizen, I understand your point, but in this sort of dispute, there's really no way for there to be good relations. With the exception of territorial claims, however, relations between the two governments is more or less friendly. |

LOL they all hate us equally.
For Japan, I don't see why they'd hate us. Vietnam and Korea, I can understand but Japan? Weren't they the ones that committed all the crimes against us? |

I think we hate them so they hate us back, nothing to do with what happened in ww2 If you're one of post-80s, you can recall that we liked Japan very much when we were young, but it changed after their ministers kept going to the yasukuni shrine. What they don't understand is that we don't hate them because what happened in ww2, but for the fact their ministers don't give a crap about the people who got brutally murdered, raped, raped and murdered, still go to shrine where holds those murderers spiritual tablets and pray, (they claimed it's for peace, how absurd, pray to Hitler for peace??) , it's an insult, as clear as that. Lmao, is this a trick question and political commentary? I am shifting through 4 countries and can't decide which one is China's best friend!
Actually, Vietnam probably have the least political/ethnical conflict with China, outside of the recent conflict. I do not how a opinion poll of the population would turn out between these countries. |
