Posting articles about China (like "wealth drain") and telling us "problems" in our country where you have never lived or probably been to (since you lived in the US most of your life), will only result in blind eyes.

Also I'm not blind to the fact that China has problems, numerous ones in fact. However, what I and many Chinese dislike most are foreigners criticizing China as though they understand what is going on in our country.

unfortunately, most western countries only allow rich/professionally qualified people to immigrate...

They have to invest at least 1 million USD in property in order to migrate to America. That's mean whatever surplus China made, is flowing into US for nothing. Why would they come back if they left China due to insecurity (food safety, freedom of speech, widen gap poor and rich)?

Trying to preserve wealth by buying real estate abroad is pretty stupid. Productive farmland on the other hand is very smart. American real estate on average is still overpriced according to historic norms, take a look at the case-schiller chart.

im probably biased, but buying a luxury home or condo as an investment seems retarded to me. but if you dont know how to run a rental property or do the work to get a property rezoned then i suppose time is the only other way to gain value.

well even then. if you have a million+ you can throw into a luxury mansion that you wont even be in for most of the year, you are better off getting a commercial property and hiring a property manager.

Good point, while the politicians cater to both parties. "Claim" they will limit immigration during campaign time, when really cheap labor benefits the ones they truly answer to which for sure isn't the people.

When I say racialists many times I'll quote unqoute it because many old fashioned bigots call themselves race realists without knowing much else besides what propaganda or rhetoric they are fed.
