Life in a post apocalyptic world, what would you do? Options

Imagine the world as we know it dead and gone buried beneath the ashes of some great cataclysm. Social order remains in some of the larger cities but do the roads becoming the homes of highwaymen supplies are becoming few and far between. No more big government to keep its eyes on its citizenry the best and worst of people have been brought out. Manafacturing is at a standstill and industrilization as we know is no more. Slowly the world is regressing to simpler time and even now cities are becoming states.

How would you fare in such a world?

People in the big cities don't know about agriculture or importance of clean drinking water.
Security ... sure, it has always been a problem especially with crime.

Anyways, the paramilitary like police would rule most of the urban areas.
Supermarkets would be looted. The roads littered with cars and car accidents.
And the people would just be slowly starving to death.

Who knows how to butcher an animal for food?
How long can you store food without electricity or refrigeration??
Where does one get the seeds to grow a crop of food to sustain a community for a year?
Medical treatments?? Who know how to treat a broken bone and what are some of the complications?
Heart attack?? Who can make the medicines everyone will need. Disease will become epidemic, flu or measles

People feeding upon other people??
If the past is any indicator then yes, it will happen again.
And, all this anarchy will take years to resolve before any real community will rise above the rest.
Lots of death and disease.

How would I survive? I don't believe I can.
Would definitely try but odds are I'll be one of the ones who died first.
