QUOTE (Dachinese @ May 17 2004, 05:45 PM) I havew high metabolism so I don't need to do anything so do i. i could eat constantly for an entire month and not gain more than 1lb. personally, i think everyone, regardless of how much they weigh or how high their metabolism is, should exercise on a regular basis. whether it be at the gym w/ weights or running in the park. just because your weight is low, doesnt mean you're healthy. |

QUOTE (Cevilgenius @ Dec 21 2003, 11:15 AM) 1- eat a balanced diet 2- eat less carbs 3- eat less sugar 4- eat more fiber there. that's all you need. and excercize. get a treadmill or something. now i need to fatten up. :genius: The low carb thing isnt neccessasily true. You need carbs in your diet as its main source of energy. Even if you resort to a low carb diet your body will start to produce ketones. The only carbs you should avoid are ones high on the glycedmic index which will cause an "insuilin" release promoting fat storage. rather you shoul dfocus your carb intake from teh following sources Brown rice oatmeal whole grain breads sweet potatoes Certain beans and legumes whole wheat pita's whole wheat tortilla's in that order! Protien sources should come from lean meats and dairy such @$$ skim milk egg whites extra lean ground beef chicken breast skinless chicken (altho the breast is preferable) cottage cheese lean flank beef steak and for vegtables and fruits avoid sugary fruits... Apples are your best choice and most vegtables are good for you anyways. Also switch up into eating 5 smaller meals a day. this will revv your motablism.. and avoid sugar at all cosT! try to lower your sodium intake. And excersize regularly. |

If your lazy and don't like running, do Winsor Pilates.
You can see result in 2 weeks if you do it everyday. (the Accelerated Body Sculpting - appro. 52 min) Or..if you're lazy lazy, do the 20 Minutes Workout. You can still see results. Combine it with a good diet. =) |

I'm trying to look slim in my dress for my uncle's wedding (though everyone says I'm like a twig >_____<)
I do: Morning: 15 minutes on the treadmill 10 or more crunches Jump rope Night: 30 minutes on the treadmill Jump rope Use the weight lifting machine thingy (XDD) Drink lots of water and try not to eat anything way to fattening (like chocolate cake with marshmallows *drool*) or any junk food. I also eat dried fruits. |
