Never ever starve yourself...

If you eat nothing at all, your body starts to eat away at your muscle, giving you a flabbier thus fatter look. Not eating also slows down your metabolism dramatically so that when you DO eat, albeit very little, it will go straight to the parts that you don't want it to!

Instead of starving yourself, work-out! Pick up an activity that you find interesting and fun such as rollerblading or hiking. You don't have to work out in a stuffy gym to get results.

Good luck!

I need a workout routine. Can someone help me set out a good workout routine?

Here's a bare-bones workout:

- benchpress
- arm curls
- bench step ups
- leg extensions

If you don't have any fancy equipment, just weights, here's what you can do:

- pushups
- situps
- arm curls
- arm swings
- bench step ups

best way to build strength is to vary the weights and the repetitions. For "light" weights you should be able to do 12-15 or more without being too fatigued. "medium/normal" weights should allow you to do 8-10 repetitions. And for "heavy" weights you should only be able to do 5-7. You only need to do 2-3 sets, so a workout shouldn't take more than an hour unless you're focusing on many specific muscle groups.

PS- Feel free to comment on the exercises if you're knowledgeable about weight exercises....most of my knowledge is limited to being a middle distance runner.
