i think he has a point. i think lot of korean cars look REALLY similar to toyotas. seriously, u can't deny that japan is much more creative and that it helped korea's economic success. lot of successful korean entreprenuers adapted japanese business practises and ideas.

actually

Honda uses Hyundai tail-lights. Honda's commercial for the 2012 CRV was influenced by the Kia 2010 superbowl Commercial. Honda, also uses Posco Steel(Korean steelmaker) for their cars and SUV's.

Toyota hasn't borrowed too much from Kia or Hyundai yet. But they will, if Toyota continues to lose marketshare to the Korea rivals.

Price wise Korean cars have made tremendous improvement on the world market. Technically, though Korean cars still have a notch to climb to be compared with Japanese and American and European cars.

yes

Kia and Hyundai I say are much better than piece of $hit Honda.

I am being biased because I had 2002 Acura TL type S with its notorious faulty transmission that Honda refused to fix.

Oh our transmission breaks down every 50kmiles. We will just replace the faulty transmission with another faulty transmission once free-of-charge for these retarded owners.

That's how I felt.

I would take Kia and Hyundai any day over buying a 40 grand mediocre car.

But then again since I have money to afford 40 grand mediocre car - I would rather buy a Lexus or Infiniti.

Now I drive a g37 and loving it.
