Chinese Triads, present a lot in Chinese movies but also irl? |

Lately I've been watching a lot of Chinese movies, many of them feature Triads fighting with each other both in China and/or overseas, however I find the Chinatowns here really calm, I would never imagine any Triads being active here, maybe in America it's different as there are bigger Chinatowns there but here in Europe I don't catch any vibe of what is pictured in these movies, am I being paranoid? lol

triad is like mafia, they conduct casino business mostly. they're probably in macau more than in hk now.
