ne of u guys kno if the psp will work in UK if i was to buy it in hong kong?? i mean like will all the voltage (plugs, adapters, and the console) be compatible with UK?? and if psp games from UK will work with psp console from HK??? i really wanna get one. also, will games from the US work with the HK psp console?? cos im just thinking that all the games in HK will most prob b in chinese or japanese right??

most likely, in will have region codes
if it does, I seriously doubt a HK PSP will play UK games

besides, that, HK uses NTSC, doesn't it?
and UK uses PAL?
so the video format is different anyway

(NTSC is what Japan and North America use, I believe HK uses it too)

i thought about it having dif format. but since its a "PORTABLE" device, y da heck sud it have region codes??? thats just stupid

I haven't kept up to date with the PSP, from what I remember the games aren't going to be region locked but the movies will be. They are competing with the NDS, so it seems unlikely that Sony would enforce region coding for its games anyway, since the Nintendo DS doesn't have any of those restrictions.

Also, the plugs are the same in HK as the UK now, and I haven't had any trouble with any of the stuff I've bought from HK.

it will work because psp's r reginally unlocked so it will play both NTSC and PAL the only thing that it is locked on is the UMDs so you can only watch HK UMDs on there
