There's US spies all over Taiwan trying to create Taiwan/mainland hatred. I've encountered A LOT on the internet. Apparantly there's an unnoficial US military base on Taiwan and a lot of the workers are married to Taiwanese women.

do you actually believe that this divide is because of US spies? lol ive encountered A LOT in real life. by taiwanese international students. person to person anyone can be cool with anyone, but denying the obvious hostile nature they have when they talk about mainland is hard.



for example, i know this girl who even as she talks $hit about mainland, reminds herself her best friend is from the mainland. except her friend doesnt do the stuff she is complaining about.

she was telling me how this mainland boy was hitting on her in mandarin and how he liked her mandarin. (apparently the taiwanese mandarin is attractive when a girl speaks it) when she didnt reciprocate he asked if it was because of this mainland/Taiwan thing and that Taiwan is part of China. (what a pimp. bet he gets a lot of tw chicks with that one.)

soooo many stories like this one. i dont even ask. people just tell me. actually, this situation happen when i was eating by myself. she comes by, sits down and vents. i just wanted to eat lunch...

But it's only the FOB's who try and cause trouble. The type of FOB's who come to America are so ashamed to be associated with China so they try hard to differentiate themselves. They even join anti-China movements so that White Americans will like them.

the fob guys i do get along with, are like overseas born asians. its not just about height (fobs, east asian ones at least, are pretty much just as tall) or about bulk (anyone can hit the gym) its the attitude. they have no confidence in front of non asians. your head should NEVER be down when you are talking with someone. or when a couple of black guys want to have a friendly chat, they damn near break into a cold sweat. LMFAO relax. nobody is going to rob you in the campus library. jesus.


i have a friend from mainland, hes 6'4. and he isnt skinny. he has a conversation with a 5'7 TA and he looked smaller. something about his mannerisms and stammering made him look weak. the way he stood, how strongly he nods in agreement to what the little dude was saying....something was off.

he looked like he was getting scolded by his parents or something. zero projection of confidence.

all fobs. i fully understand the society in asia and the mannerisms. if they were raised in Asia they cant really help it. im just saying it doesnt work well here in the west.

there is one thing i respect blacks for, and its their understanding of confidence and swag. mannerisms is a big thing and they know how to project. its something very foreign to alot of these asian fobs.

like i said, east asian fobs at least are about just as tall on avg. anyone can hit the gym. this isnt a size thing. its how you act. i also know ESL is harder to be confident in a language that isnt your own. but it isnt even what you say. if they think its what they say and talking like a rapper is going to do it then they still have no clue what im talking about.
