Not onl old Khmer that pronounced R but Khmer in Surin still pronouns it and I can pronouns it too.. When I was Surin n boriram I hear them say walk= der ដើរ~ fly = her ហើរ~ with most action word (verb) got the end with R and u have to pronouns them.. Khmer center don't see it need to indentity that why we got confusing and hard when study Khmer. I hear Khmer Surin kakmee កមេរ~ or a very heavy kmerr~ ក្មែរ~ if u look at what prof. Keng Vansak research u might get more clear about what the word Khmer come from. But I do appreciated what Khmer is. |

Tell your people to act mature for once. The Thai members are just in a retaliation because your Cambodian buddys like Khmerboi, NagaPrincess, vihearpreah keep harassing the thai forum. And Indrataka1 & other cambodians members keeps harassing filipino forum. I'm just siding with the Thai & defending the Flips, because the flips aren't defending themselves from Cambodian trolls. Filipinos don't wanna waste their time with an immature ethnic group. This post has been edited by kimminator: Sep 18 2011, 02:27 AM |

The names you mentioned of whom you consider trolls in the Thai and Filipino forums don't apply to every other Khmers. People always say some things that are off the wall, but it doesn't mean you should retaliate by shooting at their people as a whole. Instead, I suggest you should resolve it between you and them. Leave the other nationalistic views aside. You get me? Check this out, preahvihear and I butt heads all the time and we're Khmers. He and I don't agree with things. The difference between this situation is that I don't come out and label him with a certain kind of Khmer people. You feel me? |

I consider them stupid people who try to be trolls. Their mentality is like that in real life. They would drag out Thai & Filipino children in the middle of the street - spit at them, rape them, and then slit there throat in front of their family's. And their excuse would be that it's "sacrifice for the resurrection of angkor wat". |

I do not claim trolls as a team with me. This isn't an ethnic turf war or something. Get over it. Filipinos harass us here, and when I go to Youtubes, Thai trolls post negative comments just to troll the Cambodian trolls. But I don't blame this on an entire ethnic group. How do you make it one's duty to patrol people of their own ethnic group? Bad apples, spoil the whole bushel? This post has been edited by mushrooms: Sep 18 2011, 05:02 AM |

Sir, I believe you mistaken me for someone else. Oops, then. The troll I refer to constantly makes new accounts and he always has popstars in his signatures so I thought you were one of his hundreds of reincarnations... But, what do you say to what I wrote? That you can't really blame trolls for an entire ethnic group. It's insulting to me that you call my ethnic group "immature" just because of your online experience with trolls. Dohoho. ![]() |

That's why I have them in my sig. I totally agree with you. It was wrong for me to go after an entire ethnicity because of what a few ignorant people do. I was really jumpy for the pass 2 days and let my emotions get the best of me. But base im on observation on this site, cambodians on AF are immature when compared to other ethnicity. not all khmer on this site are like that, just some. It's written as "Kmer" (unaspirated K) in Angkorian inscriptions as early as the 7th century and eventually changed from Kmer -> Khmer -> Khmaer (the modern Khmer spelling is different from middle Khmer spelling using a different "e" that is still preserved in the Thai spelling for it; pronunciation uses a diphthong and silent r). We aligned it with the word Khemara (Pali version of Kshemara)--kind of like how Thais align the word Tai with 'Daya' (Sanskrit/Pali word). ក្មេរ > ខ្មេរ > ខ្មែរ เกฺมร > เขฺมร > แขฺมร Not sure what the actual etymological origin of this word is, but it is often said it comes from Kampu + Mera (I'm sure you've probably seen this already. It's mentioned almost everywhere on books on Khmer history. But I think this is just a persistent myth with no real proof. I personally think it's just a word made up by Khmers themselve a very long time ago (not something that others called them nor a combination of two words). เขมร literally is Khemara but we pronounce it as ขเมร Kha-men เขมรินทร์ literally is Khemarindra, we pronounce it as Khem-ma-rin not Kha-me-rin both are same word เขมร but pronounce differently. That's what I mean by aligning it with Khemara. It was originally Kmer but we have this thing of Indianizing (thats why we all use Indian names for our kingdoms, Kamvuja, Ayuddhya, etc.). Kmer is not a word of Indian origin, but it is similar to Khemara (Pali word) that we fused those words together. So in formal situations, we use Khemara- instead. And in the same manner, Thais use the word "Thaiy" spelled in Thai like it were a Sanskrit word (Daiya), but it is actually based on "Tai" which is not Sanskrit. Pali version of Thai is Deyya I think... |

I see there is no point to explain these Thai people about who we are... they even don't understand what the point that you (mushrooms) provided them.. they even come up with a very stupid response in somehow..which show they know nothing about the root of the Khmer language, and they here just mean to measure our capacity as well, so to explain them is liek singing to the cow.. ^^

10Just buy a Edmonton Escort smaller vibrator as to Edmonton Asian Escort not cause discomfort. It can Edmonton Escorts go in as far as you Edmonton Asian Escortst want it to. I find immense pleasure with smaller vibrators. I used to have this huge one that did everything I found it was just too intense for me, and too big!
