3 times a week in the gym. but i plan to start boxing or kick boxing again for 2 nights a week.

Kickboxing is very nimble sport. I don’t believe many realise how fit kick boxers are upon looking at their frame.

I take it your body is more to wards the ectomorphic realm?

I walk/run/jog in the park for 1-5 miles every night. That's about it. embarassedlaugh.gif Please give me tips for a six-pack...lol

I've got a very nice package of them, though I don't work out a lot.... never saw a gym from the inside. All I do is to do some exercises 10 minutes a day and keep a strict diet - the diet not the work out is actually the most difficult part....

I’m planning to purchase a belt with a chain tomorrow. This will enable me to add more resistance when executing pull-ups.

That's sounds reasonable. I'm horrible when it comes to my diet. My metabolism used to invincible, until after I turned 24....lol bawling.gif I tried doing the 5 small meals a day thing, and my work schedule only allowed me to eat once a day. Even when I ate 5 small meals, I felt like I was eating too much. I'm also hypoglycemic and prone to nausea, so I really can't alter my eating habits that much. I have been trying to reroute my brain to saying no when I feel full. I always felt like I had to finish my food 'cause I didn't want to be wasteful. Now, I just just say no and shove it in the trash. I'm going to join 24 hour fitness gym soon. wish me luck. beerchug.gif

Congratulations! icon_smile.gif

The slowest seasons for gyms fall within autumn through winter. This will enable you to get an excellent deal if you pay for a year in full since you are not seeking a commercial gym.

The above generally applies to 24-hour gyms.

The sooner you start the greater the chances of achieving your goals by summer.

Cheers!

A lot of new gym members have the same concept. They end up working out too severe within the first two weeks, become painfully sore, and never attend the gym again.

You will need to burn calories then, build muscle. This will take some time pending on where you stand from a physical standpoint before joining a gym. This is why it is wiser to join a gym in the autumn – winter season than spring, if the goal is to look your best in the summer.

There is also the misconception of needing to starve in order to lose weight. If you workout constantly in a gym, your metabolism will increase. This will lead to your body burning more calories than the average person who does not attend a gym for you are always doing some form of high intensity physical work.

It is not uncommon to eat before or after a workout. This is due to burning a lot of calories in the gym to the point you are hungry. America’s obesity is based on a lack of exercise. No matter how healthy a person eats, if they are not exercising, that person will not achieve a well-toned physique.

So by all means enjoy your Thanksgiving diner. Just join a gym. Upon joining socialise with other members. A gym is like a small community. If you are antisocial it will not enable you to learn any tips from seasoned members.

Cheers!

i dropped so much weight when i started low-carb dieting.

about a week into it, your appetite just dies. your blood sugar and insulin get all stabilized so you never get strong cravings for food.

I just do bodyweight stuff
chin ups
pull ups
tucked planche pushups
(working towards full planche)
squats with 10kg dumbells in each hand. Will eventually start 1 legged though.
skipping
trying to do elephant lift...
my goal is to be strong for my size and to loose 10kg fat. I currently weight 60 and 15kg is fat. So i want to build 10kg muscle and loose 10kg fat and be lean.

If you do not have a calorie counter, this may be helpful.

Losing weight is not my aim of going to the gym so I do not have many links that focus on reducing ones weight.

Cheers.

hmmm, yeah i think i might use my dumbells and try to build some muscle on my traps. The main problem is idk where to build the muscle so i just do compound bw exercises. I might start on abs but once i start doing full planche my abs will probably get quite a workout anyway.

Pull-ups will enable you to develop a V taper. However, if you prefer using dumbbells, one arm bent over rows will focus on your lats.

Bear in mind your body will move about according to the weight you are using.

I don't really hang out at the gym but I do jog a few laps in the evening then do push ups, crunches, and skipping rope in the morning.
