No ,they are treated fairly the same as other nationalities,I think Their living situation may be the same as Mongoloid Russian .

In the MPR the largest and most important dialect is Khalkha. In the MPR(Mongolian People's Republic ) Oirat is the only other main dialect, whereas in the IMAR(Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region) dialects may be divided into many regions: in the center there is the Chahar-Shiliingol dialect, which is closely related to standard Khalkha; in the northeast Barga and Buriat are spoken; in the southeast the major dialect is Khorchin; in the northwest it is Alshaa; and in the southwest it is the Ordos dialect. The Oirat or Kalmuck dialect is spoken in northwestern Xinjiang, Qinghai, and the western part of the MPR. With the exception of the Daurs, who speak a separate language in northeastern Inner Mongolia, the dialects are more or less mutually intelligible.
Historically, the Mongols adopted a Uigur or vertical script under the leadership of Chinggis (Genghis) Khan (1206-1227). In 1946, the MPR formally adopted the Russian Cyrillic alphabet. The Uigur script remains the official script in the IMAR. In the MPR the official language is Mongolian, whereas in the IMAR both Mandarķan and Mongolian are the official languages of government publication and documentation.

The Internet seems to be filled with flame wars between Chinese and Mongolians. Then again, I wouldn't take these flame wars seriously.

Ah, forgive me. I know of this. it is not Turkey, but TURKIC. this is different thing from Turkish :P
Turkic are sort of name for group of Mongoloid people which lives in central Asia and has slightly different customs from Chinese or East Asians, like how some of them are Muslim. But these Turkic people is still decendant from Asian, so they should not view themself as different.

I hope I clarify for you icon_smile.gif
Nobody in Asia want to be Turkish biggrin.gif

Yes, there is a difference between Turkic and Turkish. Turkey is a nation of Semitic Arabs whose ancestors were dominated by the Seljuk Turks.

I think Mongolian are good people and they are welcome anytime in Laos. Also we expect to do a big business together in the future since Mongolian is a good place for farming cattle and other farming business and sustain the people of the Lao and Mongolian people alike. As they say, Mongolian has the green rich grass valley while Laos has the tropical paradise for fruits and other produce. It would make a big difference if these two country exchange trade on fresh produce. beerchug.gif

This idea has been suggested before. Mongolia should export meat to Southeast Asia while Southeast Asia should export fruits and vegetables to Mongolia.
