I know there are way to many Street Fighter characters to list, so I chosed to list the originally ones from Street Fighter II excluding M.Bison (note that I'm using the japanese version of names, in some american/european versions of Street Fighter, Vega are M.Bison, Balrog are Vega and M.Bison are Balrog. In this case, Vega are the Shadaloo General, Balrog are the masked bullfighter and M.Bison are the boxer)

I chosed to exclude M.Bison because I want to list my favourite character, Fei Long.
I suppose most of the chinese players here favors Fei Long, Chun-Li or Ying and Yang (from the Alpha series) (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Also, M.Bison are the character I like the least (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif)

However, I think Ryu are the most popular character amongst the majority of Street Fighter players in this board (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

I don`t know why but since i remember my favourite was Ryu.

i guess it's not just Japanese. Cuz usually what Japan bust out for it's game it's the same for the rest of East Asia.

ie that Vega, Balrog, M.Bison names are the same for as well as Rockman for Megaman, in Philippines.

not from street figher III....he's ORIGINALLY from SUPER STREET FIGHTER II.

The best character of all time is Ken! He's by far the most dominant fighter. Ryu will be second cause they have the same style. Same goes for Akuma although he's cheesy. The characters that are the weakest and wasted time creating these are all the characters that you can't finish the game with one try.

Ryu is the most popular because he's like the "coverboy" of street fighter. Anyway ryu or cammy white for me. lol
