Chinese rock bands Options

I think I started a topic like this a long time ago, but now it's lost to history. Anyways, I never got a good, solid reply from that thread, I think. So, can anyone recommend some good Chinese bands? And nothing emo or anything like that, please. I heard about some heavy metal bands like Tang Dynasty (supposedly China's first heavy metal band) ...are they good?

The only C-rock bands I've listen to so far are:

Silver Ash (China's first visual kei band, pretty good)
Seraphim (metal with female opera vocals, also good)
Ping Pung (Kinda emo-ish...it's alright, though not what I'm really looking for)
F.I.R. (pop-rock, but they're really good, despite the fact that people say they're a knock-off of Do As Infinity. But I think Faye has a better voice)

hes bringing his knowledge of Chinese counterpoint and harmonies to this BM project. i'm staying with him for the next few months rehearsing and then recording.

we've done test recordings on his 8 track although the Erhu acoustics don't translate too well

we won't be prematurely releasing samples

everything will be recorded, mixed and mastered before anyone hears anything. i'll be distributing the demo free (you have to pay shipping though)

the sound of the band is very Chinese despite the emphasis on guitar/bass/drum. the sorrow and melancholy of many Chinese solo and orchestral classical pieces will be aesthestically fused with Burzum-esque black metal

i hope it will inspire Chinese metal musicians to look more towards their roots for musical and ideological inspiration instead of being so western oriented and liberal

Gee. Do you even know what black metal is and sounds like? It's highly highly unlikely that any black metal (especially NSBM) project can be targeted at a market because it is so underground and exclusive a music style. Teens fall for modern, trendy commercial crap whereas black metal is exactly opposite that. And I doubt that any slick marketing agency or commercial label would sign a NSBM project. (no offense to Chinese NSBM)
