http://www.politicalcompass.org/test

What did you get on the test? What format do you think is best for the future of China?

I tested middle ground on the social aspect, slightly left on the economic aspect.

I got this:

Economic Left/Right: 2.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 1.49

But I think the test is rigged, some questions are phrased in a very pro-left way. I mean, "If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations."? I bet only a CEO will choose "I strongy disagree".

You're right. The site does have a (Strong) left wing, libertarian bias it seems. They should have chosen different issues for the test questions, or at least phrased them differently.

For anyone, just had/have to make it about China so it doesn't get moved to 'other'.

WOW, this was very difficult. Perhaps because my English is so poor :P
After friend helped me with some translation, this is what I have:

Economic Left/Right: -4.00
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: 3.28

I not know what this means XD

The economic scale is whether you believe markets should be regulated or not by the government. Higher value = the more regulation, Lower value the less regulation.

The Social Libertarian/Authoritarian is how much value you place on individual rights vs. the benefit of state.

So according to this test, you believe ( -4/10) that the state should regulate the market. And that (3/10) the Needs of the state come before individual rights.

I got -4.38 on the economic scale and -1.26 on the Social scale.

Questions do seem biased towards socially liberal and economically communist though.

Extreme leftist but neutral on state or libertanian tendency. My belief these scores can change depending on the environment/culture we are usually engage with daily. Nothing is static!

Economic Left/Right: -5.62
Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -0.31

the best fit for China is left wing authoritarian. unfortunately, China is right wing, libertarian. China is giving too much freedom to corporations and businessmen to the point where people can just scam whoever they want and get away with it, something that they couldnn't have done under Mao. another problem is these religious wack jobs, that are going to China to spread their religious nonsense. Again, Mao would have just thrown them in prison, but now, they have too much freedom. There's a whole bunch of christian churches popping up all over China. there are tons of taiwanese, and hongers in mainland China spreading their reactionary views. again, China is way too tolerant of this. back in the day, they would have been thrown in jail, but now, they can just roam the streets and poison mainlanders thoughts.
