They're all HOT. So, I guess the mestizas out there are just overhyped.

You should see this, this eurasian forum compiled a thread of the best mestizos celebs in the Pinas they know about. And the girls on my non-mestizo thread blow them out of the water.

^ im gonna guess you have something again mestiso looking ppl?? were you beaten up by them as a kid or somehting lol? you or them have nothing to prove to anyone they refer to themselves as filipino as do u...in my opinion its a lot of the filipinos that grew up abroad that have a real identity crisis, constantly refering to themselves as part somehting else to make themselves less filipino.

^ Well, about the Filipinos who were raised abroad, the parents should always encourage their children to be proud of their heritage. If the parents are instead, encouraging their children to be completely whitewashed, then of course, they'll be suffering from an identity crisis. I was born and raised most of my life in the Philippines and even now, my parents have never let me lose grasp on my Filipino identity (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/beerchug.gif)

Of course not, I have even been accused by a certain member here of being obssesed with a certain shade of skin color (Of which I am not (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sure.gif) ). Im just saying that even the non-mestizo/non-tsinoy filipinas look just as good if not better then the mestizas who have been put on a pedestal.

Anyway more pics.

any real proof that these people have no chinese or spanish blood? they look awfully light skinned to be of malay ancestry as you claim them to be.

not trying in any way to imply that light skin is superior to dark skin or vice-versa. just wondering if you're not mis-representing here maybe just a tad wee bit.

Dude there are T'boli and Maranao people who are light as some of those people, and they are truly natives and didn't mix.

^ That's what's really fu-ked up. I'm quite the opposite. I'm still a FOB and I want ever goddamn person to know i'm Filipino though i've been mistaken for a Latino quite a lot (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/confused.gif) The whitewashed Filipinos in here often made fun of me because of my heavy Filipino accent and my Filipino pride. They say that i'm a loser for being too proud. Well, at least i'm not the one who fu-king tries to conceal what I really am. Unlike them, i'm not willing to sell myself out and say i'm something i'm really not. Btw, cool sn (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif)

Most people who say they are part Chinese are indeed part Chinese. They aren't trying to be anything other than what they are. In my experience it doesn't even come up as an issue unless somehow the issue was brought up.

You just mentioned your mom is 1/2 Chinese. You're exactly what he was talking about. Why did you mention that? (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sure.gif)

What? I never met Fil-Ams like that. For the most, a lot of the ones I met are very interested in Filipino history and culture especially those who is half Filipino-half American white, because they never grew up in the Philippines. They’re curious about what it’s like there. The snowy week before Christmas last winter, I drove my mom and grandmother to church for Simbang Gabi on the northwest side of Chicago. The Filipino American community had a huge celebration in the Church basement after mass where some of the Chicago Catholic bishops and both Filipino and white parishioners saw on stage the little Fil-Am youths from the nearby Catholic school dancing in Filiipino folk dances.
The ones who I found talking sh## in chat rooms about the Philippines or hates the Philippines are those from the Philippines or those that recently immigrated to other western countries like the US and Canada. One Filipino from another forum who recently immigrated to the US said he would never ever visit the Philippines again unless if it’s “REAL important” or related to work.
Whereas my cousins (who were born and raised here in the suburbs of Chicago) visit Leyte/Bohol, Visyas every year or two. They just came back this summer from a month long vacation there. They swam/ went surfing in the Philippine Sea and visited Mactan monument. Some of the Fil-Ams at my work who’s been here for a long time visit the P.I., California, or Europe every year since plane tickets are dicounted to near free for them. I plan on starting my own computer/software business first here in Chicago then start a branch in the P.I. if it goes well here. I was inspired by an older Fil-Am friend who invested millions of his own dollars to start his business in the P.I. He already hired some truckers, engineers, accountants, and IT specialists there. He said he’s giving jobs to the Filipino people. Even some Vietnamese who were former refugees and American veterans that were stationed there love the Philippines, the good food, and the hospitality they found there.

Think about it: We're always talking about filipino identity...why just don't accept it? (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif)
