I was totally like (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) when I was told that he was 48 this year. He looks so good for 48! The man is a legend going back to his "Sabai Sabai" days and I still treasure my Boomerang album in my CD collection!
But the latest album that I've heard is alright......but I can't help but think.....maybe he's a lil old for all this now.....some of the new tracks I've heard are just like.................. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif) okay? I still love him! But do people think he should hang up the microphone soon after recording so many albums??? (IMG:http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a50/charlee_willabee/bird.jpg) Nice questions :-) In my opinion, no way for him to stop. He is always so happy on stage! It can be seen so well. That is why his fans are all ages and never get bored! I saw some of his concerts in Bangkok and met little kids, teens, their mothers and also really old grandmoms/granddaddys! PiBird is really amazing with anything he do, cause he got bigest tallent to entertain people, he got touching, strong and variable voice to sing any kind of music, he can dance very well, he can act too. And what is most important, he loves his work, always work with 100% of enthusiasm and his treatment towards his fans is very friendly and sweet. We saw him always so happy. Volume one is good album and lets wait what he will bring next time. I will be supporting piBird forever and wish many other farang superstars know him, cause they can learn from him so much :-) |

The guy has a great voice. Apart from Sabai Sabai, my fav song was Roo Mai Wa Chun Kit Teung. Suffice to say there was a girl from Phuket involved. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_neutral.gif)
He should keep on singing. |

Nah for me it was all about Boomerang, Prik-ee-noo and Koo-Kud hehehe
All classics that take me back to when I was lil with my cousins dancing around infront of the telly while his concert was on. I just think he's getting on a bit and should quit while he's ahead..... quick question tho......is he really gay like people say he is? This post has been edited by charlee: Aug 30 2005, 09:26 AM |

(IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) It was a summer fling with a really nice girl, Nung1. She came from a good family, I met her parents, brothers and all. The song was the going-away song she dedicated to me. Seems very gay now, but it was really sweet then. We kept in touch for a few months, but then she got engaged to someone from Rayong. We were both really young and naive then! That's how i first got to know of Bird Thongchai and that's all you're getting from me!
