the last time we've heard from the ancient egyptians, they were under Roman's rule. years later, some muslim arabs settled in the mysterious land called Egypt and up until now.

That may be the last you heard of Ancient Egypt, but AE was around long before Roman rule (30 BC-AD 395). Modern Egyptians and Ancient Egyptians are of different stock. Upper Egyptians are probably the closet to the Ancient Egyptians because they didn’t really mix with foreigners as did Lower Egyptians. |

QUOTE (dalawapo @ Oct 8 2005, 10:57 AM) You are not reading any posts on this forum. How many time did I mentioned that Sub Sahara Africa does not exist? So-called black people do not live in "sub-Sahara" Africa exclusively. I mentioned so many times of countries that are right in the Sahara desert and are also so called black. Ranging from Mauritania in the West to Sudan in the East. Nota Beta: Why are you bringing up a dead topic? This has been argued too many times This post has been edited by bond007: Oct 8 2005, 10:14 AM |

QUOTE (dalawapo @ Oct 8 2005, 09:57 AM) Huh? "black people" are in more than just below the Sahara. What are you implying here? If you are interested in Ancient Egypt I recommend these sites: The Nile Valley http://phpbb-host.com/phpbb/index.php?mforum=thenile Egypt Search (good site, but too much debate over the race of Ancient Egyptians) http://www.egyptsearch.com/forums/Ultimate.cgi?action=intro Tour Egypt http://www.touregypt.net/ I hope this helps. |

QUOTE (TheTruth @ Oct 8 2005, 11:20 AM) People have a nasty habit of thinking that indigenous African only populate south of the Sahara and that the Sahara desert are populated exclusively by Arabs. Firstly some of the northern countries are populated by Berbers, not Arabs. Secondly as I mentioned so many times, the countries I indicated are located in the Sahara desert, not south of it and are populated by indigenous Africans. Westerners coined the term sub-Sahara Africa in an attempt to clump the indigenous African south of the Sahara. Which is ludicrous. About those web site you recommended, I do not need to go there because the Rosetta stone deciphered by Europeans indicated that The Egyptians migrated from PUNT, which is located by the Horn of Africa. Since I know what kind of people lived there at that time, to me... GAME OVER for those disbelievers. They can believe in their truths I believe in mine. This debate is stale and constantly repeated in an attempt to invoke reactions and emotions. This post has been edited by bond007: Oct 8 2005, 10:54 AM |

The first pharaoh is said to be Narmer during the early dynasty period around 3150-2686 BC. |

QUOTE (dalawapo @ Oct 9 2005, 01:57 AM) back in the acient times, i'm sure a few egyptians did mixed with nubians and libyans. nubians had much darker skin than ancient egyptians and they were a bit bigger too. sometimes, they were used as the pharaoh's bodyguards. |
