I found a questionable reference to a type of Song Dynasty warrior called "Winged Tiger" at a modeling site, a model of which is shown below:
 I could not find any other sources in this context, except for a Chinese novel character in "Outlaws of the Marsh", named Lei Heng, being referred to as "Winged Tiger". Can anyone else shed some light on this name? Was there really such a warrior type in the Song Dynasty? |
