Some scripts have better looking font fasces that could have been used (reffering to the Khmer one :P).
This is a hard pick for me. I like the look of them all. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) It's like comparing apples and oranges. |

1. chinese
2. japanese the korean script looks kinda primitive no offense (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/cool30.gif) it looks very feminine, very round-ish (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) 2 |

All of these apart from Burmese (i think) say: QUOTE All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood. I got it from omniglot. |

Where did you get the Hmong script. I thought Hmong didn't really have a script writing??? Just wondering where you got it ?? I just want to see it, never have seen before. http://www.omniglot.com/writing/hmong.htm
It's not a very old script, having been invented in 1959 by a Hmong illiterate farmer Shong Lue Yang who lived in Laos. He was assinated by government troops in 1971. The rest is in the link. Tagalog used to have it's own script too: (IMG:http://www.omniglot.com/images/langsamples/smp_tagalog.gif) which reads: Ang lahat ng tao'y isinilang na malaya at pantay-pantay sa karangalan at mga karapatan. Sila'y pinagkalooban ng katwiran at budhi at dapat magpalagayan ang isa't isa sa diwa ng pagkakapatiran. This post has been edited by transtic: Nov 3 2005, 01:15 PM |

obviously khmer. it looks so fuccking sexy. lol. but i thinki've said that a good 100 times on this forum.
1. khmer 2. thai 3. chinese 4. tibetan (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_redface.gif) i'd say lao looks sexy too but it's too curly looking IMO. lao can be written with more straight or rectangular looking characters, right? (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif) and korean writing is cool because it's practical and easy to learn. |
