It does not matter wether I agree on SBM or not. The important thing is that it should not be regulated in the state law. Government and religious bodies should not intervere with private life.

I am a moslem. However I do not agree when MUI try to pass on SBM laws. Infact I do not agree on alot of MUI fatwas (whats fatwa in English?). The reason is very clear : Islam DO NOT have Allah's representatives on earth -unlike Catholic with it's Pope for instance. Therefore there should not be anyone or any organizations telling the 'Islam Dos & Donts' for moslems. Religion should be a personal business. Read the book, do it or not do it. Up to you.

It's ridiculous to watch police raid hostels on TV. And the voice over is saying "Polisi menangkap pasangan selingkuh.." On what base? Because religion said so? Or there is SBM/Selingkuh law actually existed? If there was the law why I never see them busting selingkuh couples in Marriot or Hilton? What sad about the Bandung Lautan Asmara also known as ITENAS XXX case was that our society almost failed to see that they r THE victims. They (absent mindedly) transfered their hi-8 to vcd in public data processing cafe. The cafe guys there saw it, burned it to hundreds & sold em on streets.

This couple should not be trialed let alone be judged for what theyve done-outside for being stupid enuff not converting data by themself. They were adults, sober, suka sama suka. Shot their intimate acts for themself. Not for public.

When I'm younger, my religion education and value comdemned SBM as great sin, so I follow this anti SBM things. But when I grew mature, I can see lotta hypocrit people that using religion as their weapons to gain power. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sure.gif)

Now I kinda neutral and try not to be judgemental to view this SBM issue. People has their personal reasons to do SBM. We should respect that. And it is important to be responsible and be safe.

Honestly, i disagree with AIDS campaign which they distribute condoms, they said it's for save sex. But it can means that if ok u have a sex, but just use condom.
Just said, don't do it until u marriage, do it with ur wife/husband.
As i know, no couples who have been marriage that have HIV, except one of their spouse is selingkuh  (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)   mungkin saja......

The aim of the AIDS campaign is not to encourage people for having free sex but to repress number of HIV infected people who do free sex. As what Majapahitans said people has their personal reasons to do SBM and the campaign cannot encourage them to not do it until they’re married. The point of the campaign is it important to be responsible and be safe. In this case I think it’s better not having sex with more than 1 people.
