I think some of you are missing the fact that these guys own in international competitions. I'm not sure about that. Can anyone confirm?

^ I haven't heard much about Koreans outside of Korea (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/shrug.gif) But then again I haven't followed the scene for more than 2 years. The last major comp I knew about was red bull lords of the floor and it was won by a bboy from Brooklyn

From wiki

QUOTE
The largest competition each year is probably Battle of the Year (BOTY), held in Germany since 1990, and featuring crews from around the world. Despite its name, BOTY focuses on choreographed routines. After judges rate the routines, the final winner, and de facto world champion crew, is decided in a final battle (along with 2nd, 3rd, and 4th places). Recent winners have been from France, Korea, Germany, and Hungary.

the reason is cuz we are powered by "kimchi"
haha jk

yea ive noticed koreans are really really into dancing. even in the past. there's even a korean manga on breakdancing which was called "the Hiphop" lol. yea i have the whole series, i was so so obssesssed with breakdancing in middle school. i guess every korean goes through a dancing craze. cuz i got all my friends into breakdancing too. dancing has been very popular in korea. they always dance in game shows too. and you kno hiphop itself is pretty damn popular. they even have korean freestyle rapping, which i think is pretty corny. but dancing, i think korean are pretty crazy in break dancing. i think wen break dancing comes on korean tv it attracts young kids and like just amazes them and convinces them to do it. cuz i first saw breakdancing from a korean show. i was like blown away. since im a korean i think this would happen to most other koreans in korea too. they just see it and b like omfg!! i have to try that. yea koreans are hella crazy in breakdancing, they even make a manga for it.

go to youtube and like search nam hyun joon. some of the clips might not b that great. you have to watch a lot of it. man that guy can poplock like crazy. and also ive also seen this korean girl poplock. omg!!! it was fkn crazy, ive never seen a girl poplock so seriously. but yea thanks to kimchi

Can you tell me the link that can read the "HIPHOP" Manga. i looking for it for a long time ago.

Expressions (Winners from 2002) are CRAZY. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think they're the only professional bboy group in Korea that started their own school for breakdancing as a performance art (?)
