It's coming out in a week or two. Based on the manhwa. Looking forward to it. But I never imagined Yoon doing a hs role.

This drama is based on a very popular and well-written manhwa. It should have far more identity than the usual.

well, Goong is based off a popular manga..
it's something that was aimed for the korean youth

not so much the other asian countries

I do agree that Kim Jung Hoon does look very feminine but that is the very reason why I adore him so much. Having watched the series until about 17, as the others have yet to be released with english subtitles, I have enjoyed it thus far. I do realize that Romance is not everyone's cup of tea, but paying attention to something that will not interest you in the long run then bashing it is petty. You should just ignore it maturely. -_-;

Saying like: "Jesus Christ, if Korea wants to sustain the korea wave than it needs to be more creative and venture in other areas beside romance." is like saying China should remove it's kung fu from its films, ALL OF THEM and trying to erase it. If Korea wants to move on, then it will with its future producers and writers but even expressing your opinion like so won't change what it is currently doing.

But putting that aside--This series is really good, the manhwa should been great too when I get a chance to read it. In the TV series, the attires are all outstanding and the wonderful colors and how the characters are each played; it's wonderful and to me, it's very refreshing--even the angst is enjoyable. As the story is weaved, you can slowly, one by one, see all the characters unfold and tell how they are thinking. <3

My favorite character does have to be Shin-Goon's sister and Yul-Goon though.. ^^; They're just adorable!
