Child serial killer Miyazaki says stranger tried to kill him

TOKYO — Tsutomu Miyazaki, a serial killer, told a psychotherapist on Wednesday, one day after being sentenced to death by the Supreme Court, that a stranger had tried to kill him the night before, the psychotherapist said.

When asked if he could sleep the previous night, Miyazaki, 43, said, "A stranger who was trying to kill me was making noise, and it was late when I fell asleep," Miyazaki was sentenced to death for killing four girls in 1988 and 1989 in Tokyo and Saitama Prefecture.
