Like Amelda Marcos, she spent money on herself and family while the poor watched. To make them look at the stars and be something better. LOL

I remember how a family friend told me that their neighbour would slaughter a dog every weekend for some feast. I was kinda messy and all; and this occurred in Australia. I think they were overseas students from the north. Imagine if they were caught or were reported to the the police; they would've been jailed then deported back to Vietnam.
We seem to have got this bad habit from the northerners who migrated south. |

More than just how humanly they treat their dogs, but communism as well. Inhuman treatment of man's best friend seems to sit well with the nest of communist inhumanity as well, doesn't it? |

QUOTE (Heavenandearth @ Feb 2 2006, 02:04 PM) Now, you have to create market for all those corrupted officials with their millions to entertain themselves. Bui Tien Dung did spent $2 million on soccer bet in one month. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) anyway, I want to say not all Vietnameses eat dog. anyone who generalizes that is being ignorant. I don't eat dogs and sometimes I don't know why how anyone can eat dogs. I think this guy Viet Kieu worked hard earning his millions and now he can do something that he loves and at the same time might earn some more money. CSVN did approved this gaming, right? I hope CSVN don't do what they did to other Viet Kieu business people like when their businesses make alot profit and the VC come in and accuse them something and then take all their assets away. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/bawling.gif) there is a long history of doing that to Viet Kieu in Vietnam. |

I said the eating of dogs came from mostly the North. Most South people don't do it. It is practically the culture there with boulevards of shops selling dog meats. I havenot heard or seen this in the South. Have you?
About gambling, Vietnamese don't need another addiction. This post has been edited by Heavenandearth: Feb 2 2006, 04:36 PM |

Many Viet Kieus got burnt badly by corrupted officials for just being successful. They'll just slap you with some bogus offense and you'll be set up for life... in jail. |

QUOTE (Heavenandearth @ Feb 2 2006, 02:55 PM) Why the hell do you always try to create animosity between North and South Vietnamese? And didn't we have an discussion about eating dogs? I'm pretty sure you eat beef right? That's frown upon in India. How about pork? That's frown upon by Muslims. |

The freaking Chinese are even worser then your people when chosing animals to cook. I saw an episode on CNN once showing the Chinese mixing DOGs, CATS, and RATS in their soup. That was soo freaking crazy. |

Inhuman treatment of man's best friend seems to sit well with the nest of communist inhumanity as well, doesn't it? If large enough groups of people consider cows and pigs as man's best friends, we will have to out law it. Obviously, those who eat dogs don't think that they are your best friends or they simply eat anything, cats and monkey brains. |
