Bruce Lee, he changed the conception of asians in america and was also one of the few who introduced asian culture to american culture in the 70īs. Hes also the one that made what asian is most famous of, Bruce Lee made martial art what it is today, it was dying out fast in China and after Bruce Lee introduced it to american culture the trend also made the chinese martial art status sky rocket as many young new actors could find their ways to survive with the asian movie industry that arouse with the coming of martial artist actors like Jackie Chan that got his chance to act thanks to bruce lee in the movie "Fist of Fury".
Bruce Lee is what the asian american actor community is lacking, a man that can connect and introduce new concepts what hollywood is lacking.

I would say stephen chow, he has many films which can bring you many hours of laughter when your down and many other genres of films which are overall just brilliant block buster films which arent noticed for how good they actually are! Another thing i like is that hes funneh! and hes also a perfectionist, which means he gives more than 110% when directing or acting in the films he has done (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) - (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

Jackie Chan because he is funny, and his comedies are hilarious. His movies usually have a moral in them.

The one and only teen heartthrob Ben Li!!!!! The rising star in the upcoming movie 16 Blocks!!! This young actor shows acting flexibility by playing either Chinese Man #1 or #2! OMG! Can u believe that!?? He was rejected in the original casting of the Memoirs of a Geisha due to his ridiculous good looks and charm. He's just too good!

fu-k I feel it! Im gonna win this $hit!!!

One of my Favourite is Bruce Lee

Too Asian to be anything more than a masked sidekick, Hollywood told Lee, and gave the Kung Fu series lead to David Carradine. Lee returned to Hong Kong and cranked out three flicks that offered nothing but his physical virtuosity and emotional power. The world was not only ready, but hungry, for an Asian hero, Hollywood decided. Bruce Lee's mysterious death at age 32 couldn't keep him from rescuing Asian manhood from Hop Sing hell.

Bruce lee...first asian to introduce martial arts in the movies. Because of him, you have Jackie Chan and Jet Li. But unlike the two of them, all of Bruce Lee's films were a HIT. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/cool30.gif)

jet li
I like the diff roles he plays in his movies... he doesn't play the same role everytime... its always something diff and new and i think thats refreshing

because unfortunately hollywood seems to cast most asian men in the same role every movie (kungfu fighter or something) although jet li roles have all had kung fu fighting themes (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif) he has done movies with a lil something more:
in(romeo must die)his role was romantic and in (unleashed)
his role made me cry cuz of all the pain he went through (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/bawling.gif)

but my fave movie from him would probably have 2 be THE LEGEND
