I was wondering if anyone could provide information about these places for living
ex. racism, job opportunities, recreation, dating, weather, cost of living etc here's what i found out(they are assumptions, not always true): Honolulu....very friendly for asians(most ppl are asian, laid back), but not metroplitan(perhaps harder to get engineering/research jobs?), i am not sure if guns are around in hawaii like rest of US Vancouver/Toronto, not as racist/violent like US, fair share of multiculturalism, doesnt have threats from terrorists like US Shanghai.....probably not so friendly for ppl that don't know great chinese and their dialect and darker looking skin colors?..donno much more about it Europe....doubt there are many asians but they aren't affected by American media, so even if there aren't tons of asians, life isn't that hard for asians, lots of places don't speak english tho.. Or you can suggest some other places |

i live in Vancouver. it's pretty diverse here.. you see ppl of all nationalities. in Richmond, it's mostly asians though, for some reason... the weather here is pretty mild. we don't get snow much here (it only snowed 3 times this winter) and it rains A LOT.

San Francisco is one of the best places for engineering jobs, great diversity and culture, very different from the rest of the US. Vancouver is great as well.

Vancouver? Beautiful city, nonetheless boring. I also find that asian communites are pretty segregated compared to Toronto, but that may be a good thing depending on what you want.

France is not a city..
There aren't many asians in Belgium (Europe). But there is not much racism here, they are pretty friendly.. Not much to do around here, the weather isn't so good.. we used to have snow and not-rainy summers but not anymore. |

yes us asians are slowly taking over in vancouver lol. it'd be weird if the majority of people you see in the urban areas of vancouver WEREN'T asians.
but yes...the downside is that it rains too much in spring and fall...but summer is quite pleasant. also the housing is costing WAAAY too damn much these days =(. it can be expensive to live here. |
