(IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_neutral.gif) I can't say I have heard it before.

Is there any good Filipino Dance, R&B, or Rap out there?

Any artists who do it?

Also, are there any Filipino artists who have really strong vocals?

Please recommend good music for me.

that's coz most havent broken into mainstream. The only ones i know so far who are mainstream is aple, chad hugo (part of the neptunes duo), kai. But Filipinos have played an important role in hiphop. Specially in the early days.

QUOTE
Apl.de.ap

Perhaps one of the most successful mainstream Filipino American rappers is the Black Eyed Peas's Apl.de.ap, who has released songs such as "The Apl Song"
(Elephunk) and "Bebot" (Monkey Business), which not only contained Filipino (Tagalog) lyrics but also native Filipino musical elements. Pineda has also founded his own record label, Los Angeles based Jeepney Music, to help discover and promote Filipino hip hop talent from both the United States and the Philippines.

Groups

    Bass Rhyme Posse (Filipino)
Beat Junkies (all Filipino American except for Mr. Choc and Melo-D)
Blue Scholars (one Filipino American member)
    Death Threat (Filipino)
Dilated Peoples (one Filipino American member)
Invisibl Skratch Piklz (all Filipino American except for Mix Master Mike)
L22 (all Filipino American except for Explicit)
    Native Guns (Filipino American)

Q-Bert (Robert Quitevis)
is perhaps the most recognized and respected Asian
American rap artist to date. But he's not a rapper-the only speaking he does is with his hands as a pioneer in the DJ-derived art form known as turntablism, a method of scratching vinyl that produces a completely new sound. Taking "skratching" to a new artistic level, DJ Q-Bert, and scores of other Filipino American DJs up and down the West Coast have revolutionized turntablism and are among the newly emerging aesthetic's main shapers.

Filipino hip hop

The Philippines (Philippines: A republic on the Philippine Islands; achieved independence from the United States in 1946)  has the oldest hip hop (hip hop: hip hop is a cultural movement that began among urban african american and latino...)
scene in South East Asia, largely due to the historical connections with the Philippines and United States (United States: North American republic containing 50 states - 48 conterminous states in North America plus Alaska in northwest North America and the Hawaiian Islands in the Pacific Ocean; achieved independence in 1776) , the home of hip hop. The beginning of Pinoy rap came in the early 1980s (1980s: The decade from 1980 to 1989) , with Dyords Javier ("Na Onseng Delight") and Vincent Dafalong ("Nunal"). The genre developed slowly during the 80s, but soon entered the mainstream with Francis Magalona's Yo!, which included the hit "Mga Kakabayan". Magalona became an instant hit. More stars followed, including Lady Diane (The First Lady of Rap), Denmark (I'm Markie D.!), Michael V. ("Maganda Ang Piliin"), Rap Asia ("Hoy! Tsismosa") and MC Lara (MC Lara).

Other than hip hop music. Filipino hip-hop is also represented in turntablism like DJ. Coki, DJ. Kimozave, breakdancers like The Battle Krew and graffiti like SBA CRU and UAT.

1992 saw the beginning of rapid stylistic innovation with Francis M.'s Rap Is Francis M, and Death Threat's "Gusto Kong Bumaet".

this is an excellent article all about filipino hiphop

aside from kyla and jr

the ones i know; some i have not personally listened to, since i'm not in Pilipinas

r & b and/or dance (though most of them are mainly into love songs for pinoys are locos romanticos)
passage band
free style
south border
cherry lou
rachelle ann go
ella mae saison
streetboys
mark herras
gary valenciano
jerome john hughes

rap acts - im not very familiar with hip-hop rap, the pinoy rappers are more into metal rap or gangsta rap

francis m (also does metal rap)
andrew e.
urban flow - i like their song miss pakipot
legit misfits
gloc 9 - i like his distinct pinoy sound
death threat
kruzzada

check out philmusic forums, they know more of the r & b scene in pinas, even techno and trance music.

few i found in youtube
SOUTH BORDER FEATURING JINKY VIDAL - SWEET
http://www.youtube.com/?v=jjYDjOf4wvQ

Jerome John Hughes - We Could Be In Love
http://www.youtube.com/?v=9CMgeXVR5LM

Greyhoundz_featuring_Gloc_9_And_Francis_M_-_Koro_[
http://www.youtube.com/?v=y8zvfVGrUEE

Gloc9 - Hinahanap Ng Puso
http://www.youtube.com/?v=BUicpFVR4-A

strong vocals, hell yeah. good singers are dime a dozen in pinas. even cheap showbands can cover most of the famous r&b and dance music in the US.
