I'll try to make the posts in characters and romaji, but forgive me if I forget the romaji. I'm not used to it. Also, it's better for you to learn the kana, as there are relatively few romaji in japan or anything japan-related. Except forums of course (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

I just said;

haha, no, I said, although I am a belgian, I've lived in South-Afrika, and can (thus) speak english.

Seeing as South-Afrika is half English, that made sense in my head (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Still learning, 2nd Bachelor Japanology in Katholieke Universiteit Leuven. It's interesting, to say the least (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

Nice. I've been learning on my own. I've been using Pimsleur and Japanese music and animes to help with listening comprenshion. I have Hiragana down and am working on katakana and Kanji. I'd say the biggest problem I'm having is pronounciation. Sometimes it's just really hard to say things the way they are when I try to speak normally (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif)

Hi I have noticed somthing while I'm singing in Japanese, some of the word I sing have too many sylables(sp) for me to keep up with (meaning my tong is too slow (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/sure.gif) )

example: when i'm singing minimoni songs, some I can't keep up it makes me sad, but i'll just keep practicing.

try saying

notteru notteru notteru notteru
notteru notteru notteru notteru
notteru notteru notteru notteru
Uchira wa saikou

and also try (now you have to say this as fast as you can)
