Hey what's up Christian (naikou). I read through your shoukai and I was just wondering, what is 全銭? From the kanji I know that would read zenzeni...which currently isn't a word but would mean all money...:P Were you trying to write 全然(zenzen)? Or am I just stupid and not know the yomikata for that kanji?

BTW, what's up, names Clint 20才, new to the boards here, I started studying Japanese when I moved here a year and a half ago :P living in fukuoka now. Anyone here from fukuoka? もし福岡市に住んでいる人だったら返事よろしくネ! じゃあね~

You sure? I ask because I've heard it in two songs Hikari and Houki Boshi.

In Hikari the first line is

Donna toki datte

which is translated as "No matter what the time"

and

donna toki mo

which was translated as "Whenever the time"

Or are these just loose translations? My dictionary says "what kind of" also but I'm wondering if it's a context thing or what.

i don't know lol. all i know is that "donna" alone = what kind. i guess it can be translated into something else then if you add some other words to it.

こんにちは。

私は光と言います。外国の言葉を覚えるのは楽しいです。英国と日本の社会、歴史、文化の勉強がとても面白くなってきます。この掲示板で英語を話す人としてのみなさんと いろいろなことを討論したので、なんとなく英語が上手になった。でも、日本語がなかなか上手にできませんでした。これからは、日本語ができる人をみつけて、できるだけ日本語を話すようにしよう。 (IMG:style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) よろしくお願いします。
