i heared that japan is the most peaceful place to live? is this true? if yes why do you think your country is peaceful compared to other country.

arigato!

There is no so peaceful place on earth.Only lonely man in the desert iceland could live in silence. If there is a second one ..would be quarrel. When third one exists ...there is a war (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif) 2

yes i've heard it's expensive but don't know about the crime rate.

has the people in this forum and/or thread ever lived in japan?

to topic starter,
are you planning on visitig or living there? or did you just want people in this thread to defend the idea that japan is peaceful rather than other countries?

can we really know what country is more peaceful than another except maybe those that are at war right now.

QUOTE (toki @ Apr 7 2006, 08:05 PM) *
well. according to world stats. london i think at one time not too long ago was number one for most expensive city. but its still up there in the ranks. but even tokyo has its cheap spots compared to most of tokyo

Actually, no, Oslo took over the dubious honour of topping the chart. Tokyo has been at the top for 14 years. http://www.finfacts.com/irelandbusinessnew..._10004716.shtml

London is in 7th place. That's like for poor people. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/embarassedlaugh.gif)

Nothing to do with what I quoted (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif)

I presume they mean the most expensive asian cities worldwide otherwise they would have contradicted themselves (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif) #

Will have to re-read it and see.
