His music in Chrono Trigger is worth mentioning.

As a very big fan of the Final Fantasy series and Nobuo Uematsu's work, I must say he's brought me much joy simply listening to the music he's composed.
Its a shame he isn't working on FF games anymore (as far as I heard, might be wrong). |

Can someone MOVE THIS THREAD TO AF LOUNGE? Why? It's much more worthwhile in terms of Japanese culture than the mindless stuff you usually post. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_rolleyes.gif) |

Renzokuken is from FF Zezei...it's the gun sword thingy of Squall from FF8. Although I forget if it's the move he does or if it's the actual gunsword...
Anyways, his music for the FF series is quite good. |

Such a guy piece. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Are you calling me a guy? (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/eek.gif) IMO "Eyes on Me" is too fluffy. Not enough too it. Too airy, too simple. It's cute, but not his best work. |

Hmm i don't remember much from 5....I liked 6 though I thought six was over-rated. (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/shifty.gif) Good ones from that include: Relm, Forever Rachel (neartears), Aria Di Mezzo Carattere and Terra. I'm a fan of FF8. The music is a large part of the game. This guy's music really fits the game well. Fisherman's horizon is a really relaxing piece =]

I loved FF 7,8, 10 mostly. I played and completed all from 6 to 10-2. Coincidentally, the music from my three favourites are my favourite soundtracks for the games in general.
I hear 5 is great and have it, shame I don't have time to play it. I can't wait until FF12, which looks simply fantastic (got 40/40 from Japanese magazine Famitsu). The music I've heard in that seems pretty good too. Could someone say whether Nobuo Uematsu actually had any involvement in the FF12 ost? |

Loved his music since FF5. My favorite Japanese classical composer. It's a shame that he isn't the "main" composer for the newer FFs.

Gackt was ASKED to write a couple of songs for the most recent FF Dirge of Cerberus. He came up with 'Redemption' and 'Longing'
