Sirikittong, for someone who does not like to start 'something' sure like to press our buttons.

Thank you for your enlightment on our rather weak Air and Arm force, i think we Khmer understand that. And no, looks like we are not going anywhere with our rusty tanks and planes are we? So why don't you lay of the 'action' talk and just be neutral about it. We know Thai has the most supirior Arm and Airforce, you don't have to stressed that on every posts. And thank you for the recommendation of our naval fleet, we are considering buying some second hand ones from America when they are done with it in 2050 IPB Image. And the design on that hat? You don't have a base of who copy who, so lets not justify it by guessing shall we? Because i can guess a lot of things too, like say oh Muay Thai is copied from Muay Khmer.. oh wait a minute, i don't have a document proving that. Hmmm

I like to justify my response statement by saying, "I don't want to start anything here but..."

This one looks too small to be a main battle tank, yet its canon is too big to be a common carrier (???)

Why don't Laotians and Khmers encourage their brothers in Issan to rise up, fight for their rights of separation and rejoining Laos and Cambodia? Why are those 20 million+ remaining quiet?

The Muslims in the south will cause much more trouble for Thailand in the years to come. Thailand either have more instability or have to let them have self-determination and maybe united with Malaysia.

Thailand shouldn't be a country that it is today in the first place; the economy is controlled by the Chinese, there are over 20 million Lao and Khmers in Issan and the Muslims dominate the 4 southern provinces.

Unfortunately Cambodia struggle human crisis and humanitarian support from the world, but most importantly the country is leading by highly corrupted government, officials that oppressively disallowing the people and nations to sharply moving directly into positive path.

The people still aggressively and heavily needed to form fundamentally improved, psychologically, the basis human want and need. Cambodia accordingly must improve systemically, education, infrastructure, social, quality of life etc......In order to move forward.

Without efficient or visionary leaders that stabalized the people and nation. Cambodia is however still struggle to progressively embark anything.

Cambodia are not capable, are not efficient, inadequate resources and have not got the capacity to go to war with any country. You are putting Cambodia at risk if we are going to war with Thailand or Vietnam.

^ Well said, Chantthaa. Cambodia is in no position to declare war; in fact, war is OUT of the question. Cambodia must modernize and industrialize. Let us no talk of Cambodian-Thai conflict; lets talk about money..money..money...and trade. Money is always good.

Cambodia is not comprehensively in a position of combating or fighting war with eirther Thailand and Vietnam.
I hate to spread in details, but briefly, Cambodia must strategically and wisely negotiating with both Thailand and Vietnam to deter any serious conflict that could highly destruct the people and country. Furthermore independently, the country is running without any negative intervention from Thailand and Vietnam.

I personally think that Cambodia, internally, needed to concentrating on how to solve the current problems, how to move the country forward quicker, faster in terms of social need, economic demand etc...............

Come on people, stop talking about the war scenarios already. We know our military is not in top shape, We know we have internal problem need solving. We all know that.
THE WORLD KNOWS THAT.

And thank you to a certain someone who keep trying to compare our military to his own icon_rolleyes.gif

We know our country is seem by many as an underdog compare to our neighbors.. but if we look at it from a different perspective. Look at Vietnam, even a civil war couldn't stop them from defeating the mighty force of the strongest arsenal in the world. Americans and their ego got the better of them.. and it should be a lesson to a certain somebody.

EDIT: Found this on Google, it looks pretty new.

Yes Cambodia can't fight a war but if it has the capabilities to wage war it shouldn't do it, in this age of globalisation everyone country should try to bring in money not economic problems. ASEAN was created so that SE-Asian nations could have an equal footing not so that bigger countries could dominate the smallers ones, so Cambodia is equal not matter what. The Cambodian military an be used merely for self-defence and nothing more.
