I got many pictures I took myself, and I also posted them in Skyscrapercity forum.
Too bad, I still cannot access photobucket so I cannot upload my pictures now. Do you have any suggestion about where I can host my pic? thanks. EDIT: Okay now I found some. These pictures were taken by me about 1-2 years ago. From my classroom!! yes, classroom (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_wink.gif) Looking toward Phayathai/Pratunam (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0411.jpg) Looking toward Rajadamri/Langsuan/Wireless (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0408.jpg) Looking toward Pratunam. And that's my school, Patumwan Demonstration School. (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0397.jpg) Looking toward Sukhumvit (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0393.jpg) Langsuan/Wireless close up shot (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0383.jpg) Wireless rd. from Wittayu-Sathorn flyover (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0275.jpg) Baiyok Suite Hotel and Baiyok Sky Hotel from my bedroom (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/cHemon/23%20sep%20new%20cam/CIMG0159.jpg) The last one in this post is a bonus. It was not taken by me, but my friend, Chad, who live in the same aparment. (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v171/chady/Untitled-Stitched-06.jpg) All above pictures are a bit outdated because there are so many highrise buildings completed during the past 2 years. Do you like them?? So join SkyscraperCity 5555 (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggthumpup.gif) This post has been edited by cHemon: Apr 12 2006, 03:48 AM |

I love your pictures!!! I took some pictures when I was in Thailand last year. I had a blast there and can hardly wait to go back! I was in Pattaya and Bangkok most of the time. I spent a week there and two weeks in Laos.
Pattaya: (In Pattaya we didn't stay long, only a day. we were at a park so we didn't see much city) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/neevaj/MiniStonehenge.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/neevaj/FlowerGarden4.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/neevaj/FlowerGarden3.jpg) Floating Market place: (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/neevaj/FloatingMarket.jpg) (IMG:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v291/neevaj/TotheMarket2.jpg) |

Yes these are cities of Thailand; and yes Bangkok is larger and more modern than many other western cities.
Bangkok itself has more than 10 million people (almost the population of Cambodia) Ill post more pics. |

Super Khmer, it doesn't look like "Western" cities, most of asian cities look like that (boxy buildings).

Super Khmer, it doesn't look like "Western" cities, most of asian cities look like that (boxy buildings). Yes, maybe so! But have you seen Skyscrapers in China they have their own design. They make it llok like Chinese temple. I say it looks like in the western world because many thai building have that Boxy designs and that how cities in the west look like. I'm not sure that's what I see on TV. |
