QUOTE NAGOYA -- A couple who killed their 28-year-old daughter, apparently after becoming unable to withstand her violent outbursts, were arrested Friday, police said. Arrested were Masataka Tange, 60, and his 60-year-old wife Yoko. Police are investigating their motives for the crime. Police said Masataka Tange made an emergency call at about 11:15 a.m. on Friday, saying, "I've killed my daughter at home." When officers arrived at the home in Nagoya's Nishi-ku they found the couple's 28-year-old daughter Atsuko collapsed and bleeding. She was taken to a hospital, but was confirmed dead soon afterwards. Investigators said Atsuko Tange started arguing with her mother when she got up shortly after 10 a.m. on Friday. Masataka Tange stepped in to stop the argument, but she lashed out at him. Infuriated, he picked up a glass ashtray and smashed her over the head with it while her mother reportedly restrained her. The parents said that they were arguing with their daughter. Police suspect that the couple impulsively killed their daughter after becoming unable to withstand her daily violence. damn..double teamed. x_x |

i've got double teamed by my parents before. it was when they were trying to teach me chinese and i didnt want to learn. if i memorized some characters wrong, my mom would beat me with a stick and my dad would punch me at the same time. How did she lash out at him exactly?? If she has a history of violent behavior that should be taken into account. Maybe the couple felt the need to defend themselves (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused.gif)
