There are Japanese in Brazil as well?
That's cool.
I remember one time in summer camp we had a group of Koreans from Brazil and it was tight as hell. you get a bunch of Korean-Americans and a bunch of Korean-Brazilians and the only way to communicate is through the mother language. I found it hilarious when they weren't speaking Korean.

Welcome, its a rarity to see Japanese posters here (except Takashi whose posts I see regularly).

errm...I'm not Japanese and never been, so I can't answer the question, though I really want to go visit.

There are many Japanese in Brazil, and from what I know it really has made a great impact on the cuisine there. Fusion food of Japan and Brazilian dishes are meant to be outstanding.

Hello:
I wasn't born in Japan, but since my grandparents (all of them) were from Japan, I could say I have japanese blood... I come from Latin America, but now I'm in United States doing my MBA. I'm 28 yo, and I really would like to know more about Japan and its culture. Since my grandparents spoke a combination between Japanese-Spanish, it was really hard to understand them!!!! Almost impossible for me!!! (Another thing is that, at that time, I was very young, they passed away several years ago).
It will be very nice if I could contact somebody by email or chat...pls just let me know.
Thanks for your time.
