Robot Stories" opened a few weeks ago in NY and it kicked butt due to the support on the East Coast. It's now lived on for five weeks. It opens in LA and Pasadena tomorrow, March 12th. Cast and crew to be there at many LA screenings and a free party on Friday with your ticket stub at Orchid's.

It's a great film, has won tons of award, gotten great writeups in "Entertainment Weekly" but it needs this push on the West Coast this weekend! Don't assume to put it off until next weekend, because there might not be a next weekend. So spread the word!

"Robot Stories" is science fiction from the heart starring Tamlyn Tomita and Sab Shimono in four stories in which utterly human characters struggle to connect in a world of robot babies and android office workers. Bring your friend/lover/co-worker/boss/grandmother/kid -- you'll love it, honest! The film has won over 29 awards and is now getting rave reviews during its city-by-city theatrical tour. If you have yet to see it and for more about the film and cities/showtimes near you like: NYC, Boston, Chicago, SF, St. Louis

I saw that last year at the director's guild. it's really good, although I thought some of the prop design was sort of low budget-- but it had some charm.

All good stories, and it sort of shows that in order for asians to be in movies, they don't need to dress up in period outfits and talk in bad accents.

Really good. I'm glad that it's getting wider distibution.
