^i'm a fan of the series. although i hope some people don't assume that it substitute for books but its the only game that is as deep and realistic.

MTWII is coming out soon i heard.

I loved total war: Rome. Loved playing cannibal with the elephants. I wonder if they plan on doing three kingdoms. That would own.

i love that game too. i'm just trying to finish the game in Rome now and then move on to The Barbarian Invasion.

barbarian invasion is hella hard. it's like you can never destroy the barbarians. it's almost impossible to play Western Romans.

Damn, a remake of Shogun with the new R:TW engine would be SWEET!!!!

I never played campaigns in R:TW though...too damn long...but creating epic battles is AWESOME!!!

i've never play barbarian yet but i know that there will be some hordes in the game and local riots can turn into a all-out cilvil wars. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_confused.gif) yeah, it does sound hard but i guess, the harder the game becomes, the more fun you get.

i love the series, Shogun Total war, Mongolian invasion, Medieval Total war, Viking Invasion, Rome Total war, Babarian invasion ^_^ . Shogun got the best campaigns and lot's of fun with the strategic map, geisha - assassin - bishops and stuff , Medieval got a nice combo of battles and and strategic map, Rome got the best graphic and most realistic battles, but the campaigns are too long and the politic is messy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

that's why i'm playing eastern romans at the moment just to get used to the new features of the game first (yep, i've just started playing barbarians yesterday) and then i'll move on to the western.r.

there's 2nd expansion pack releasing in june for rome total war called alexander. dont care much but thought i could waste my time with it until i wait for medieval 2.

I 've heard that this series si good, I borrowed a copy of Shogun Total war from my friend. Sadly the game didn't install, maybe wait for the sequel.
