So beautiful, The girl on brown shirt typical look of my relatives, and how they dress using tudung. Look the cheerful face and galant attitude thats typical sumatran girl behaviour.

but beware they could become very fierce (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif) , In Aceh a lot of their superior knight who lead the troop fought against Dutch are female.

I am from the central part of Sumatra from the purest form like glatcier in K2 peak. But overall Sumatra is not typical for family tourist, if you are backpacker tourist and like environtment tourist Sumatra will be perfect.

I think beautiful place like West Sumatra a will be good place for family tourist or resort beach in Bangka and belitung island in South Sumatra or Resort beach in Bintan island in Riau will be good too.

Yes loved it very much! It seemed like all of Bangka goes to this one beach every sunday to hangout, drag race their motor bikes and play soccer (forgot the name of the beach.) I really had a great time meeting new people and playing soccer! I will for sure go back there to visit my friends!

EDIT: of and to stay on topic here... there are hot Indnesian girls in Bangka (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/biggthumpup.gif) lol

ALWAYS wanted to go to Padang! You are so lucky to come from central Sumatra where they have the ABSOLUTE BEST FOOD IN THE WHOLE WORLD!!!

Now I REALLY want some nasi padang... damn it! (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/cry2.gif)

Meisya Siregar is Batak (North Sumatera)

Anggun Cipta Sasmi is Javanese..

(IMG:http://www.mariacarlaboscono.hpg.ig.com.br/butt/davina.jpg)
Davina Veronica Hariadi is Javanese-Menadoese (Java-North Celebes)

(IMG:http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v291/purnomor/bintang2/Angelina_Karamoy_01.jpg)
Angelina Karamoy is Menadoese (North Celebes)

(IMG:http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v291/purnomor/bintang2/Annisa_Tribanowati_03.jpg)
Annisa Tribanowati is Javanese

(IMG:http://donnaagnesia.indonesiaselebriti.com/images/p_illus4.jpg)
Donna Agnesia Wayong is Menadoese (North Celebes)

(IMG:http://img78.photobucket.com/albums/v291/purnomor/bintang2/Sabina_Padmovati_01.jpg)
Sabina Guseynova Padmovati is actually from Uzbekistan - Central Asia, but she recently married the younger brother of President Megawati, Guruh Sukarnoputra and had adopted Indonesian citizenship.. So she is ethnically Uzbek, but technically Indonesian (IMG:http://www.asiafinest.com/forum/style_emoticons/default/icon_smile.gif)

Let me correct you...Sabina Guseynova is ethnically not Uzbek but Azeri (Azerbaijan Rep). she moved to Uzbekistan with family when was child. Now oficially Indonesian citizen...
