lolz.. it all depends on the culture i guess.. western culture tends to be permissive in terms of nudity and showing skin.. so the corporate media can flood people's minds with so many sexually suggestive images that women became objectified as sexual objects.. as result, many female spend so much money on stylish clothes, beauty products and even surgical enhancement to fulfill the image of "perfect girl" being promoted by the corporations that is selling these products.. heck even when selling mobile phones or cars they always hv sexy sales promotion girls (SPG) bcoz as the saying goes, "sex sells".. its all about selling your products and getting fat profit..

similar thing in japanese, chinese, and even indian cultures. indonesian culture is not that permissive bcoz of islamic influence, however as you can see western ideas are spreading quickly into our country due to "globalisation".
