chinses has many closest alley. In 1989 the US government gave all the chinese students in america pernament visa so that they don't have to go back to china and risk being killed.
As for the Chinese government in China, they don't have any allies at all. No nations is going to sell weapons to Chinese government, and no country is going to be China's military ally. Furthermore, the US has strategically formed military alliances with all the countries sourrounding China.

LMAO how would the "alliance" work against China? It would hurt those "allies" of the USA more if they did help because of the impact China has on the world economy. China can and had always bought advanced weaponary from Russia but it is now beginning to finally develop its own advanced weapons, it will not buy anything from Europe even if the embargo was lifted.

China has Never bought any advanced weapons from anyone. Russia has sold and is currently selling 2nd rate military tech. And Russia has never sold any nuke subs to china, russia only sells diseal electric subs to china.
China has STOLEN alot of military tech from usa. W88, cruise missles, shoulder held rocket launchers with array radars, Aegis warship design. The key word here is Stolen, not develop.
But, that is ok, if you can't develope it , why not steal it.

Su-30 is still pretty advanced, the SS-N-22 Sunburn is still pretty advanced, the SS-N-27 Klub is advanced, the Kilo Class SSKs are pretty advanced. If those are outdated and ineffective, why does the USA keep mentioning those in their annual Chinese Military report?

Yes, I do think these weapons from Russia are pretty advanced.
I can also tell you, the cheapest way to avoid spending too much money in military is to make friends.
