QUOTE(jadkins45 @ Dec 7 2006, 04:09 PM) Does anyone know if there are any safe areas in the Philippines where typhoons do not hit. Thanks Here is your answer. QUOTE Mindanao's 102,000 square kilometers of land, comprising one-third of the Philippines' total land area, is blessed with abundant year-round rainfall and is sheltered in the country's only typhoon-free zone. These factors allow year-round production of a wide variety of crops. Got above from: http://www.brunet.bn/org/bimpeabc/PHlands.htm |

No many people would want to live there. We can stay anywhere we like but have to be alert of any imminent thypoon and shift out to safer places. It's definitely better living in those so-called safe but remote areas |
