Now this is MadCool. I met one of the Japanese musicians about two years ago in Florida transit, post Spring break Jamaica - these guys ooze artistic ability.
I have not been active on the event scene in the last few months, but I remember there were some really good japanse performances using the steelpan as well. It caused quite a stir in Trinidad when they did the orchestra exhibition in Carnival.
Gotta love how these guys can take something alien to their culture and beat back the locals themselves!
