I saw a program on Japanese American figure skater Kristi Yamaguchi's life story on Lifetime TV yesterday. Did anyone see it? It mentionaed how she and her family overcame adversity during the War, and what her family went through when they got form Japan to America, and that her relates fought as soliders for the US.
I did not know she was born with a birth defect.

My mother had it on. I like Yamaguchi, and I thought it was an interesting program.
Yamaguchi was born with a deformity in her feet.
