I have noticed most of my asian friends have dyed hair and continue to dye there hair.

My cousin has a few streks of brown hair becoz she doesnt eat enough nurtient so her hair turns brown.
She tells me and she considers herself a brown hair (Brunette). some of my asian friends who clearly have black hair claim that they have brown hair...

My question is WHAT IS WRONG WITH HAVING JET BLACK HAIR???

People dont like what they are given... most will change it

natural curly hair will want to be straightened
naturally straight hair will want to be curled.

i like having jet black hair .. i dyed my hair redish-brown once and it looked cool for a while but soo unnatural .. im glad it grew out

Brown hair is usually a softer color and has warmer tones. Jet black hair is sometimes difficult to pull off, even by people that are born with it. It has a tendancy towards making people with strong yellow undertones look sallow. Especially if it's black with that blue shine.

Jet black isn't a natural hair color. Even the darkest blacks have a tinge of brown in them.

There is nothing wrong with black hair just because you want to try something different doesnt mean you hate the coulour or resent it. Some styles, cuts, faces look better with different colour hair and dont reallly work with black hair and visa versa.

Another reason is that asian hair tends to lack variety in colour therefore every asian tends to have the same hair colour black to dark brown, its not surprising people want to try to be different.

Ive dyed my hair but most of the time I have my natural hair colour black as it suits my hairstyle.

My hair is normally jet black, but because I have a more medium/light skintone, I tinted it a bit reddish to soften it up and make my skin look warmer. Black was just too harsh for me, and while it's great on some people I thought I just didn't look my best with black hair.

Besides, it's in style to have different colour hair. White people can do it- why can't we?
