did you grow up in a thai/asian community?

yes, i had cambodian, hmong, laos, vietnamese, and chinese friends in high school. but now, most of them have moved away to attend college. i was thrown into the working world right after high school. i mainly hang out with a few close asian friends now.

I visited Chiangmai last month. The aim was go to see the Royal flora exhibition, but I went to other places in Chiangmai too such as Doi Suthep, Night safari, Chiangmai zoo... Really impressive. It's the third time for me in Northern Thailand.

no, i lived in kirkby lane but in still very close .. hmm .. there is the sar family (highly religious father who was a KR), Young family (they're khmer surin as well), hmmm.. then there's the chea family (thai ethnic khmer family) and there are two other families whom surnames i cannot remember .. what was the 4 digit adress? it might be easier heh

I used to live in the house that Kirkby and Fox Creek crossed. The Sar family are not Khmer Rouge, they are from Odar Meanchey, and a whole bunch of other people too. They may have family across the boarder in Thailand but they are not from there. I know them. I am buying a house in Stockton, once the deal is finallized you are invited to an open house party. You will see who I am.

i believe the father of the sar family is a former KR .. - i dont know if it's his kids that just talk a lot of $hit, but from what i've seen how he treats them (Which scared teh $hit out of me, i think that's probably enough to convince me -- the main reasons why nobody ever dares to learn khmer from him agian) and how overtly devout he is to the cambodian temple in downtown -not to accuse him, but most people who are guilty of being khmer rouge are obviously the ones who participate the most and activly in the community of the cambodian temples .. you always know it when you see them ..- i've been in his house -- he's very very devout .. it was sad his wife died from a lung tumor RIP. His family has been through much, especially his young kids who had to go through it. .. btw, i lived on chelmsford way, deeper in foxcreek to the 'clean side' near that park -
