Sure, of course they are a security threat to India. So, we should automatically just cut ties with them? China themselves have several security threats as well.

No, that wasnt what it's about. It's about textiles being exported to Italy, in their case, the italians claim that the Chinese exporters were dumping the stuff in their market. The Chinese textiles were cheaper to buy thus forcing some poorly run, less competitive Italian companies to go under. Instead of finding a solution, they just b!tch and cry and use the Chinese as scapegoats.
