A man under arrest for dismembering the body of his sister sliced off her hair and breasts in an apparent attempt to hide his victim's gender, said police.
Yuki Muto, 21, from Tokyo's Shibuya-ku, told officers that he disposed of the breasts by putting them in the garbage disposal in his kitchen sink.
Muto is under arrest for slicing the body of his 20-year-old sister Azumi into more than 10 separate parts, mostly at the joints. He put the other body parts into four plastic bags and hid them in his room.
"I was planning to get rid of (the bags) later," Muto was quoted as telling police.
Muto also admitted to Azumi's murder. "I hit her on the head and she passed out, but then she came round again," Muto told officers. "So I then strangled her."
The victim's lungs contained water, and police suspect that Muto might have strangled or drowned her in a bathtub.

I just thought about how dumb the logic the brother was. He cut off the breast so the gender of the victim will be unknown? Gee, I wonder what most people will think if you find a body with who gaps of missing skin on the upper chest would think?

Ah, a crime of passion. Nothing more, nothing less. Lessening the chance of getting caught by dismembering the body is rational behavior that anybody would do should they end up killing someone. But it must've been a gruesome experience to do it with household tools.

こわくておもしろいですね。 Japan is such a safe place but these weird incidents do happen. It seems in such a comformist society people just bottle up their anger and then just let it explore. I seen it happen in the most random of times...quiet salary man sitting in restarant explores and starts yelling at waiter, etc. Student entrance exam, yeah...too much studying can drive you nuts. But not sure about this case. It seems he was dead inside...doesn't have any humanly compassion except the the desire to get ahead. He's so focus he kills his own sister when she provokes him. A horrid crime but he's also very calculating to disemember the body for easier hiding. Gruesome.
