not sure, cuz i hvent heard her whole album, but her whole album is done in english from what ive heard. but i saw an interview of her on youtube, she could speak tagalog, but she would mix it with english, she speaks taglish, not the fluent tagalog.

I had a chat with my friends from mtvasia. Apparently, Lala still holds Indonesian nationality since her father is an Indonesian, and she was born and raised in Jakarta, and she studied in Jakarta too till graduate. And rrara is rite, Lala was the one who sang 'Langkah Baru'

ya i know, she still posseses indonesian citizenship. i think it takes a lil while in flipland to gain flip citizenship, sooo maybe shes never gonna get that.

Yes, she had a band with her cousins and friends (3 girls, 3 boys) called Innersia when she was around 15 or 16. They were all still teens at the time and of course really cute

Meski belum mengenal musisi-musisi Indonesia secara dekat, tapi Rivermayagrup band asal Filipina, ternyata cukup kagum lho. Terbukti nama grup band Nidji, Padi dan Nugie dipujinya.
Nidji punya suara vokal yang bagus, begitu juga melodi musiknya. Kalau Nugie, saya tak mengerti bahasanya tapi sepertinya dia penulis lagu yang bagus. Sementara Padi, gabungan instrumental dan suara vokalnya sangat menarik," puji Blaco sang vokalis saat ditemui di Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, Sabtu (2/12).
Disinggung soal apa yang akan mereka lakukan jika berhasil bertemu dengan ketiga musisi tersebut diatas, dengan singkat mereka menjawab, "Paling cuma hang out, bilang halo."
"Pastinya kita akan bicara soal musik, bersantai karena sifat musik adalah bersenang-senang," akunya lagi.

well the bottom line is: Rivermaya said they admired and praised Nidji, Padi and Nugie. Blaco said Nidji vocalist has a good voice and so is the melody, while Padi has interesting combination of vocal and instruments. They said if they got a chance to meet with one of them, they want to hang out together, said hello, talk about music, relax and have fun.
^ well they got to meet and talked with peterpan @ Asian idol, but it seems like Rivermaya got a new Frontman, it's no longer the Blanco guy.

Also, there's a song in the Kutch-kutch hota hai Indian movie in 1999. One of the song copied from Veti Vera song, she is an Indonesian dangdut singer in the 90's, I forgot what's the title called but it was popular that time.
